Books

A list of books or literature I like and find worth recommending.

Non-Fiction

The 48 Laws of Power - Robert Greene

Apparently quite controversial. Regardless of its status, I think its incredibly well written and capturing.

Walden - Henry David Thoreau

As a nature-enjoyer, this is almost required reading. I did read it in german, as it is my native language and the english version I seemed to contain rather old language.

I did not find it particularly easy to read, but looking back there are some incredibly beautiful passages.

Fiction

Three Body Problem Trilogy - Cixin Liu

My first taste of the science-fiction genre. I had seen the series before, and decided to read the books.

Brave New World - Aldous Huxley

A classic I read when I first got into reading back in 2020.

1984 - George Orwell

Also a classic. I think I read this right before Brave New World, and I see it as its opposite (Utopia vs Dystopia).
